MilneFilm Productions is the creative identity of Dean Milne, a Scottish filmmaker with a passion for visual storytelling and screen production.

Since 2023, Dean has studied Film and Television Production, beginning with the NQ in Film and Television Production before achieving Distinctions in both the HNC and HND Television and Film courses at Edinburgh College. He is now continuing his studies on the BA (Hons) Film Top-Up degree while developing his portfolio of original films and creative projects.

Dean has gained practical experience across directing, producing, editing, camera operation, sound design, and motion graphics through a range of documentary, drama, advert, and live production work.

His films explore tone, atmosphere, and visual rhythm, with a particular interest in stories that examine transformation, mystery, human relationships, and the emotional tensions that exist beneath everyday life.

Influenced by filmmakers such as Stanley Kubrick, Christopher Nolan, David Lynch, and Terrence Malick, Dean is drawn to cinematic storytelling that explores perception, time, memory, and psychological depth. His work aims to combine strong visual language with thought-provoking themes while leaving space for audience interpretation.
