MilneFilm Productions is the creative identity of Dean Milne, a Scottish filmmaker with a growing passion for visual storytelling and screen production.
Since 2023, I have been studying Film and Television Production, where I have developed hands-on skills in directing, editing, sound design, and motion graphics. I'm now continuing my studies at HND level while building my portfolio of original short films and creative projects.
My work reflects an interest in tone, atmosphere, and visual rhythm, whether in drama, documentary, or experimental formats. I’m particularly inspired by stories of transformation, mystery and subtle tension often exploring the emotional undercurrents that sit beneath the surface of everyday life.
Visually and thematically, I’m drawn to cinematic styles that evoke mystery, perception, and psychological depth. Influences like Stanley Kubrick, Christopher Nolan, David Lynch, and Terrence Malick inform my interest in surrealism, time, memory, and visual storytelling that leaves space for audience interpretation.
